Failing Like an Expert

Ends mark new beginnings

I am in a poetic mood today. I've set up this blog and intend to fill it in the coming months. However, there will be a short break after this post as my MA in Translation will not start before October.

But this is not my first attempt at getting an MA in Translation. I've already failed--miserably, one might say. And I've documented that in another blog, too. You can find it at this site. If you stumble over this blog and find the time, read some of my entries.

I am both excited and cautious about this new attempt. One could argue I am still pursuing the original plan, but with a short detour to make the journey more pleasant. I know that my failing is due to the institution I was attending, but it would be foolish to say it was all their fault. I certainly had my share in this.

Until October, I wish you a beautiful spring--soak up the sunshine that will tickle your noses, enjoy the summer to the fullest, and may it not become too hot and unbearable so that we can come together again in October on my journey toward the next MA.
